1. stop data acquisition, close tape
2. close injection beamline ('FB5', ask COSY operator)
3. disable trigger (OR-unit, all switches to OFF)
4. Wendy Master Control Window:
   1. ->'Start Control Proc' ->'FB LeCroy Sys.'
   2. ->'Start Control Proc' ->'CAMAC Drams Sys.'
5. two windows have appeared:
   • 'CAMAC Drams ...'
   • 'FB LeCroy ...'
6. in 'CAMAC Drams ...'
   1. at beginning of flat-top
      ->'Setup' ->'Build Pedestals'
   2. wait for message 'Pedestals build, ...' appearing in 'COSY Log' window
   3. ->'Setup' ->'Load Setup'
   4. to check pedestal values:
      ->'Monitoring' ->'Show Setup Par.'
   5. ->'General' ->'Save Setup'
7. in 'FASTBUS ...'
   1. check the number of events requested:
      ->'Setup' ->'ADC 1881 Setup' ->'Build Pedestal Setup'
      must be below 'flattop (in sec) × 10'
   2. at beginning of flat-top
      ->'Setup' ->'ADC 1881 Setup' ->Build Pedestals'
   3. wait for message 'Pedestals build, ...' appearing in 'COSY Log' window
   4. ->'Setup' ->'Load Setup'
   5. to check pedestal values:
      ->'Monitoring' ->'show module setup' ->'ADC 1881 setup' ->'Thresholds'
   6. ->'General' ->'Save Setup'
8. enabble trigger (OR-unit)
9. enable beam injection (FB5)
